We can now proudly say that "Echo" Mossbawnhill Crowd Appeal has gained her Junior Ch. title as she picked up her final point in style by winning the Jun bitch class & Res CAC under UK Breed Specialist Mr Roger Stock of the "Courthill" Kennel at Hibernian Ch Show on 17th May 2014.

"Bracken" IR,INT Ch. Collooney Mamma Mia is BVIB under breed Judge Mr Lou Guerrero (US) & ends up taking another BVIS slot under Hound Specialist Mr Eddie Patterson (N.I) "Birch" Mossbawnhill In Hot Pursuit with Ailesbury was piloted to the dog CAC,CACIB & Res BOB by his owner Lynda Cuthbert-Matthews again under the aforementioned breed Judge above and all at Newtownards Int Ch Show on 11th May 2014

Collooney Mamma Mia wins another VB class & takes BVIB both under breed specialist Mrs P Gutierrez-Otero (Mex) & "Bracken" then goes on to take out another BVIS this time under Mrs Darla Heck (Can) all at Fermoy Int Ch. Show 0n 3rd May 2014. "Echo" also gains another point towards her Jun Ch. Title.

"Echo" Mossbawnhill Crowd Appeal takes out her 1st CAC from the Jun Class,then goes BOB & finishes it by going Grp 3....all under well known & respected Judge Gerard Jipping (NL) @ Combined Canine Ineternational Ch. Show on 19th April 2014,"Bracken" IR,INT Ch. Collooney Mamma Mia wins VB & BVIB and then tops that by going all the way to BVIS under Ms Ramune Kazlauskaite (Lith)!

Little Ms "Echo" Mossbawnhill Crowd Stopper repeats her Nov win of BPIS at The Hound Club Of Northern Ireland,this time in Feb (1st) under Judge Mr Kevin Carter (Clearwing),she also won the PB class & "Dusk" Mossbawnhill Told You So was 2nd to her,
"Ember" Mossbawnhill How Bout I Be Me won the LB class & "Bracken" IR,INT Ch. Collooney Mamma Mia was 2nd in the Vet Stakes. Thankyou to the Judge for appreciating our dogs.

Well what a day we had at the Hound Club Of Northern Ireland (16th Nov 2013).....firstly "Echo" Mossbawnhill Crowd Appeal won the Puppy Class & the Puppy Stakes Class,then went on to beat the Puppy Dog Stakes winner for BPIS,"Bracken" IR,INT Ch. Collooney Mamma Mia won the Vet Stakes class & was BVIS. "Granite" Mossbawnhill No Regrets (now living in Sweden with Maria Edlin) was 2nd in the Puppy Dog Stakes & 2nd in OD,"Dusk" Mossbawnhill Told You So was 3rd in the PB Stakes all under Mr R.F Spencer from the UK Borzoi Affix "Talgavar". We had a really great day at Midland Whippet Ch. Show where "Bracken" IR,INT Ch. Collooney Mamma Mia went BVIS at the grand age of 10.5yrs under English breed specialists (bitches) Helen Wayman of the "Scarletfair" affix & (dogs) Roger Stock of the "Courthill" affix,"Birch" Mossbawnhill In Hot Pursuit With Ailesbury who is owner handled by Lynda Cuthbert-Matthews was 2nd in the Junior Dog classs thus qualifying him for Crufts 2014.

Mossbawnhill It's All Bout Me (Euro Winner 09) won the Ch B class...so a good day at the office for us! Thankyou to the Judge.

"Echo" Mossbawnhill is Best Puppy In Breed at Belfast Ch Show (Sept 28th 2013),under UK breeder Judge Catherine Fisher-Home (Jasarat),"Echo" won the PB class & her cousin "Dusk" Mossbawnhill Told You So was 3rd in the same class thus qualifying her for Crufts! Both bitches are only just 7mths old."Bracken" Ir,Int Ch.Collooney Mamma Mia was 3rd in OB she is 10 & 1/2 yrs old! & was also 2nd in the Vet Stks under Martin Sanders (UK). "Echo" also managed a 3rd in the Pro Plan Puppy Stks under Ger Cox (Ire),so a really nice day our for us!!

At Darlington Ch Show (13th Sept 2013) "Bracken" Ir,Int Ch. Collooney Mamma Mia shows us again that she has still got it at 10 & half yrs! as she wins VB,Best Vet In Breed under Liz Cartledge (UK) & then tops that by getting Res Best Vet In Group! under Tom Mather (UK).Other Mossbawnhill's had a pretty successful day too as "Slate" Mossbawnhill Still Reignin With Zigouse was 3rd in a very healthy MPD class thus qualifying him for Crufts 2014 & "Sora" Mossbawnhill Worth The Wait For Zigouse was 4th in an even bigger LB class..both dogs are owner handled by Sheelagh Downing-Christie and "Reef" Mossbawnhill Whatta Myth won a super LD class & then the Res DCC!! he is owned by Jean Dickenson (Ribblesmere) & handled by her daughter Mandy Sant. WELL DONE! all round ladies..so very proud of you all.

"Cypress" Mossbawnhill Hit The Lights handled by Mauro Carpone "Almaglo" Italy was exhibited in Luxembourg at his first show with Mauro & gains the title of Young Champion of Luxembourg.

We have some super news & new photos from Portugal where "Lure" Mossbawnhill Quietly Backd lives with his new owners Malcolm & Moira Footitt.
Firstly,"Lure" can now add a title after his name as he has won the Lisbon Baby Winner title,this was won under two Swedish Judges Svante Frisk & Kenneth Edh from the Baby Classes. Next show under Steven Seymour (Australia) & Ake Cronader (Swed) "Lure" was up into the Puppy Dog Class & both days was BOB Puppy & Puppy Grp 2nd.

What a really great day at the Hound Asso Of Ire Ch show.
We had the most fantastic day at The Hound Association Of Ireland's Ch Show held on the 17th August 2013. Eli Marie-Klepp from Norway was judging the breed & well known & respected Hound Specialist Espen Engh from the famous "Jets" Greyhound Kennel in Norway was Judging the Grps & BIS.
Our newest addition "Echo" Mossbawnhill Crowd Appeal won her class,BPIB & then went RBPIS,her Grand dam "Bracken" IR,INT Ch.Collooney Mamma Mia also won her class,BVIB & ended up BVIS...all this at 10yrs of age! But the star of the day was Bracken's daughter "Pebble" UK,IR,INT Ch.Mossbawnhill It's All Bout Me (European Winner 09) who won the Champion bitch class,the bitch Green Star (CAC),BOB,the Group & then topped all that by going BIS!!!!!!

"Echo" Mossbawnhill Crowd Appeal finished her Baby Puppy career in style at Bangor Ch. Show on Sat 10th August 2013 by going Best Baby In Show under Mr Walter Schicker from Germany,this was after she had beaten her litter brother "Granite" Mossbawnhill No Regrets for Best Baby In Breed, both got Very Promising under Mrs Tuula Plathan from Finland. "Tawny" Mossbawnhill All Eyes On Me was 3rd with Exc from a decent OB class & her Dam "Pebble" Multi & Int Ch.Mossbawnhill It's All Bout Me (European Winner 09) was 2nd with Exc in the Ch.B class.

Sat 19th May saw Hibernian Ch Show take place under specialist Mr Christophe Coppel from France who incidently was the Whippet Bitch Judge @ this years World Winners Show in Paris,he found his BOB from the OB class winner in our own "Folly" Jun Ch. Mossbawnhill U Bet I Am & she finished up Grp 3 also under Mr Coppel. "Tawny" Mossbawnhill All Eyes On Me was 3rd in JB,"Ocean" Sobresalto Lot Of Love For Mossbawnhill was 1st in the ID class & "Ember" Mossbawnhill How Bout I Be Me finished up once again BOB Baby!!
The Mini-Circuit BEST BABY IN SHOW & a New IR & INT CHAMPION!!
The first weekend in May 2012 saw our "mini-Circuit",on the Sat 5th @ Fermoy International Ch Show the Judge was Mrs Pam Douglas from New Zealand & she found her GS (CAC) bitch & CACIB winner & ultimately BOB in our own "Bracken" Collooney Mamma Mia from the OB class,we are absolutely thrilled to announce that this now gives her 2 titles & she can now be formally known as IR & INT CH Collooney Mamma Mia at the ripe old age of 9!!
"Tawny" Mossbawnhill All Eyes On Me was 3rd in the JB class,"Ocean" Sobresalto Lot Of Love For Mossbawnhill was 1st in the ID class & our newest member of the team baby "Ember" Mossbawnhill How Bout I Be Me who debuted this weekend was BOB Baby & then ended up making 2 cuts in a VERY hotly contended Best Baby In Show under Mr Michael Forte (Ire)
Sun 6th saw the South Tipp Ch Show taking place where the breed judge was Mr Karsten Kaemling from Canada,this time "Bracken" again won the OB class & then ended up with the Res GS (Res CAC),"Folly"Mossbawnhill U Bet I Am was Res (4th) behind her in the OB class,"Tawny" Mossbawnhill All Eyes On me was 2nd in the JB class,"Ocean" Sobresalto Lot Of Love For Mossbawnhill was 2nd in the ID class & "Ember" Mossbawnhill How Bout I Be Me was again BOB Baby but thrilled us all by finishing up Best Baby In Show! under Mr Sean knight (Ire)

Well it's that time already when our babies have to leave us for their lovely new homes.
"Jason" Mossbawnhill Rock It has gone to his new show home in England with Tony & Gill Ellam,"Flurry" Mossbawnhill Another Story has gone to her new show home also in England with Paul & Dot Carter,"Jute" Mossbawnhill Got Attitude has also gone to a show home but this time in Scotland,where he will join his cousin "Sora" Mossbawnhill Worth The Wait with Colin & Sheelagh Downing-Christie & family,"Tigger" (formerly "River") Mossbawnhill Color Cruise has remained a little bit more local & has gone to wonderful pet/companion home in Enniskillen where he lives with Chris Jefferson & family & finally "Rumor" (formerly "Luna") has also stayed a little closer to home & has joined my very good friend June Smyth & her family where she will be campaigned by June in the ring.
The house seems VERY quiet without them now!!

We are really pleased to say that "Bracken" Collooney Mamma Mia was Best Veteran In Show again for the 3rd year running at the Northern Ireland Whippet Club Ch Show held on the 31st March 2012,the Judge was UK specialist Liz Third of the "Bruntsfield" affix. Bracken's great grand daughter "Tawny" Mossbawnhill All Eyes On Me was 3rd in the Junior Bitch class & "Folly" Jun Ch.Mossbawnhill U Bet I Am who is Bracken's grand daughter was 3rd in the Limit Bitch class,our Italian Import "Ocean" Sobresalto Lot Of Love For Mossbawnhill was 3rd in the Yearling Dog class,so a fairly good day.
