We are absoloutley thrilled to announce that we have another NEW CH.....Fin & Nor Ch Mossbawnhill Dream On (Fin JW 07)!!
"Fallow" is owner handled by Aino Makela in Finland who is also delighted with "Fallow's" achievments, especially considering that this was her first show after her 2nd birthday that she could actually gain her title! (In Finland a dog has to be 2yrs old or over BEFORE he/she can get Ch status..."Fallow turned 2yrs on the 27th Oct) She had 8 CAC's but was unable to get her title until this show,so you can imagine it was a very tense time for all concerned. The Show was on the 23rd November 08 at Jyvaskyla it was an international show and the judge was an Ursula Langer (Ger).
This is actually the 2nd Ch from this small litter of five & a brother is hopefully not too far away from making that THREE!!!
WELL DONE & MANY CONGRATS AINO & FALLOW!!

Toni has done extremely well for his owners Natalia Malyarenko & Julia Eliseeva and they are very proud of him,as are we.
Keep up the great work!! And WELL DONE! to all concerned.

Two days later on the 19th "Pebble" M.It's All Bout Me handled as always by Ryan took her title at Killarney Ch Show under another breed specialist Mr George Kostopolous (Greece) his affix is "Allsatin",at this show Pebble went on to win Hound Grp 10 under Mr D Allen (UK/Spain) & finished in style by going BIS 4th under Mrs M Supranovich (Pol),we also took the Res GS in dogs that day with "Badger" M.Better Man who is handled by me (Pamela) and 3rd in the Puppy Dog Stakes with "Cedar" M.Better Son handled by Ryan again under Mrs M Supranovich. On the 23rd at Limerick Ch Show we managed to "finish" "Badger" again under another breed specialist Mr Unto Timonen this time from Finland and the famous "Woodbrook's" kennel, we did "the double" at this show where "Pebble" took GS bitch & "Badger" GS dog & BOB,our young puppy bitch "Damson" who is owned by Janet & Tracy (mentioned previously above) took the Res GS,so this was a super day for Mossbawnhill! On the last day at Tralee Ch Show we faired quite well in the Puppy Stakes both dog & bitch and both judged by Mrs Desserne (Fr) "Cedar" was shortlisted in the dog classes to the last four & made the final & "Sorrel" M.Envy Me handled by me was shortlisted too in the final four of the bitch stakes & then ended up 6th overall.

Our thanks goes to all the judges who have appreciated our dogs & think as highly of them as we do & also to the owners who campaign them so well worldwide!!
WOW
!! this is more GREAT NEWS from Finland!

Aino & "Fallow" are now going to have a short well deserved rest until Oct,when they will be back to claim "Fallow's" last crowning CAC because in Finland a dog cannot attain his/her title until they are 2yrs of age & this wont be until after the 27th Oct for "Fallow".
Enjoy your break!

WELL DONE Again!!
Mossbawnhill's Better Boy "Ridge" owner handled by Jean Dickenson (Ribblesmere) made his debut at the East Of England Ch Show (15th July 08) he did very well and managed to get a VHC placing in the MPD class under Pat Dufty of the Triken Kennel (UK). WELL DONE to you both Jean & Ridge!!
This litter have surprised us as although they have an almost totally 100% American pedigree they are definitely going to be well within the height guidelines set down by the English KC (in fact they look set to be the smallest whippets that we have bred to date!) they are also quite immature and that is something that both Ryan & myself like to see in the Minor Puppy classes as very often a lot of breeders are turning out babies that look like Juniors or older & are finished well before they are a year old.
