"Pebble" Ch.Mossbawnhill It's All Bout Me (EW09) gained her 4th CACIB at Swords Int Ch Show on the 20th June 09 under Per Lundstrom (Sweden),this should have given her, her Int Ch crown HOWEVER under FCI rules there must be a lapse of at least 1year & 1 day between the 1st Cacib & the last and unfortunately Pebble gained all her four inside 10mths,so will now have to wait until next year to get her title as our next Int Ch Show will not be outside the time limit either & Clonmel which would've been the next Int Show that she could've taken her Int title at (had she won the CACIB) have decided to drop the Int status this year to just Ch status,so it will be March 2010 before she can compete for another CACIB. Her litter brother "Timber" M.Exclusive (CJW08) was Res GS Dog & Res CACIB dog & "Badger" Ch.M.Better Man was 2nd in ChD class.
We received some new pics of "Squiffy" M.Better By Far from his owner Corinne,Squiffy helps Corinne who is the events co-ordinator for Greyhound Rescue West Of England

Mossbawnhill have had quite a weekend & we could'nt be prouder of our dogs!!!
Well we had a fantastic day at our European Winners Show yesterday (Saturday 30th May 09) Mossbawnhill managed to gain 3 new titles in the 1 day, with "Pebble" Ch M.It's All Bout Me gaining the European Winner 09 title along with the GS ,CACIB & BOS,"Damson" M.Smooth As Silk For Rushden gained European Junior Winner 09 title in the bitches along with the Res GS and "Dale" M.Better Bet gained the title of European Junior Winner 09 in the dogs again along with the Res GS, both dogs were not eligible to take the CACIB'S as the FCI do not allow dogs entered in the Junior classes to compete for them.Damson also was Best Junior In Breed and is owned by our friends Janet & Tracy from the "Rushden" kennel here in Northern Ireland and handled by Tracy. And Dale is owned and handled by Tony Ennis from Ireland we are thrilled with all the achievements but especially so with Dale as he is very sparsely shown due to Tony's work commitments (he works for ex jump jockey turned trainer Charlie Swan bringing on his young racehorses)

What a great day we had on Sunday 3rd May,it was our "Mini-Circuit" this bank holiday weekend but seeing as we have puppies at home & our "puppy sitter" could only look after them for the one day we could only do the one show,so we setled on the Int Show which was hosted by Fermoy Canine Club, the judge was breed specialist Elizabet Janzon from the "Wolftone Kennel" in Sweden and she was a very strict judge indeed awarding very few Excellents (only four overall in fact!) we managed to win all our classes including "Cedar" M.Better Son in JD,"Timber" M.Exclusive (CJW 08) in OD,"Badger" Ch M.Better Man in ChD and "Pebble" Ch M.It's All Bout Me in ChB,Pebble & Badger then went on to do the "double" this is the third time that this duo have done this and all under Continental judges, they took both GS's (green stars) & both CACIB's,Badger went BOB & also managed a Grp 2nd under Saija Juutilainen from the "Wallaby's" Saluki Kennel in Finland. We were beaten for Grp 1st by our friend Jo Amsel with her lovely Italian Greyhound "Mimi" Artmeis Call Me Madam who is both a Uk & Ir Ch.
Ridge got a lovely critique from the whippet Judge Sue Gillespie at the Hound Show Open in Stafford England..he was 1st in Junior dog.
Well balanced young dog, attractive long head, long neck, good length of body with nice rise over loin & correct fall of croup, good body depth, shapely hind quarters with a good bend of stifle & low set hocks, moved out well.

That's all the info I have at the moment but I will update this page with who the judge was and where the show was just as soon as I get it.
"Timber" Mossbawnhill Exclusive (CJW 08) has been mated to "Teazel" Mossbawnhill Turn Up The Sun and hopefully all being well their litter will be due around the end of March.
We decided to do this mating as we felt that Timber complimented Teazel exceptionally well & therefore we are hoping for a very "typy" litter of moderate sized, good quality puppies. And as both parents also have excellent sound movement in all directions we are anticipating these puppies will do too.
If you are interested in a puppy from this forthcoming litter please contact us through the "contact page" on this website.
Thankyou.
