HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!!!! to Daniela on your NEW GER CHAMPION & ALSO NEW GER JUN CHAMPION! with "Clay" Mossbawnhill Masterpiece & his lovely daughter "Headly" Druantia's Headly,we are both so very proud of you & extremely happy to hear this wonderful news!
Now onto the rest of the news!
on the 9th of April 2011 @ Oberhausen (Ger) under Mrs Krah Heiermann "Headly" Druantia's Headly won the JB class with the Jun CAC,Jun VDH & Jun BOB and received the title of "Junior Winner Baden Kurpfalz 2011" then @ Gallen Ch Show (Swiss) on 14th of May 2011 under Mr Lokodi (Ro) another Mossbawnhill Grandchild (this time a son of Clay from a previous litter) Swiss Ch.Druantia's Glen Boy who is owned by Martina Bartsch http://www.souls-on-paws.webs.com was 2nd in OD with the Res CAC,then @ the Windhund Festival in Rifferswil (Swiss) on the 4th & 5th June 2011 under Carol Reisman (USA) "Glen Boy" was again awarded the Res CAC from 2nd in the OD class,his litter brother "Gilroy" Druantia's Gilroy The Eyes Of Truth was 2nd in the OD class with the Res CAC @ The Whippet Windspiel Clubs Of Switzerland held again at Rifferswil on the 2nd June 2011 under judge Ms Felicity Thompson (N.Ire) of the "Barnesmore" affix. Then onto Saarbrucken Int Show in Germany on the 12th June 2011 where Mrs Suzanne Oschinski of the "Whipcat" affix in Germany was the judge & awarded "Clay" 1st OD,CAC,VDH,CACIB & BOS giving him the title of "Saarland Winners Dog" Clay's son "Hank" Druantia's Hank was 2nd JD,Res Jun CAC & Res Jun VDH,the following day 13th June 2011 there was a National Ch Show held in the same place where the judge this time was Mr Lief Hermann Wilberg (N) & he also awarded "Clay" 1st OD,CAC & VDH giving him the title of Saarbrucken Winner 2011 & this time his daughter (& Hank's litter sister) was 1st JB,VDH & given the title of Saarbrucken Youth Winner 2011. Then at the CAC & Landessieger Show in Hunstetten Germany on the 16th July 2011 under judge Mr Henne (Ger) "Headly" was 2nd JB with the Res Jun CAC & Res Jun VDH & "Glen Boy" was 1st OD,CAC & VDH. And our final bit of news for now is that on 23rd July 2011 at Landstuhl National Show under the same judge Mr Henne (Ger) "Hank" was 1st JD,Jun CAC & Jun VDH whilst his sister "Headly" was 1st JB,Jun CAC,Jun VDH & Jun BOB.
Our CONGRATULATIONS! to all the owners of the above dogs & to Daniela & the team at "Druantia" for keeping our little "Mossbawnhill" flag flying so well! THANKYOU TO YOU ALL!!

"Bracken" wins Speciality Best Veteran In Show
On Sat 18th June 2011 the Whippet Club Of Ireland held their annual Speciality Show & "Bracken" Collooney Mamma Mia was awarded Best Veteran In Show by UK breed specialist Judge Mrs Anne Snelgrove of the "Huntinghill" affix. "Tawny" Mossbawnhill All Eyes On Me made her ring debuts that day (we had an all breed Ch show prior to this one) & managed to take Best Baby Puppy Bitch at both, "Folly" M.U Bet I Am won the Open Bitch class while her mother "Teazel" M.Turn Up The Sun was 3rd in the same class & another daughter was 4th and finally "Pebble" UK,IR,INT Ch. M.It's All Bout Me (Euro Winner 09) & her brother IR & INT Ch. M.Exclusive (Celtic Jun Winner 08) were both 2nd in their Champion classes.
"Teazel" takes BOB & Grp 3rd.
"Teazel" Mossbawnhill Turn Up The Sun took BOB & Grp 3rd at Lisburn DCC open show under judge Mr Steve Atkinson (Hollinswell) from England on Sun 29th May despite pretty awful weather conditions,which definitely were NOT ideal for whippets!!
Teazel has been very lightly shown due to her being a slow maturing bitch & us campaigning her half sister "Pebble" & daughter "Folly",despite this she has 1 UK CC & is very rarely unplaced both in the UK & Ireland on the few occassions when she has been shown..Sunday was one of those 'rare' occassions & she certainly did'nt disappoint despite the fact that it was so windy that it was very difficult to keep upright at times & the tape around the ring ended up wrapped around her legs & then in the challenge she had a loose boxer chasing her & wanting to play on her way back to the judge on the "to the corner & back" bit! lol But she obviously had done enough to suitably impress the judge & she was awarded BOB & then Grp 3rd. We are very pleased with how Teazel is looking at the minute & are hoping to campaign her more both here in Ireland & England.
Teazel's daughter "Folly" Mossbawnhill U Bet I Am (Jun Ch.) won the Grad dog/bitch class & in the Open dog/bitch class that Teazel won,her mum "Bracken" Collooney Mamma Mia was 2nd to her & 3rd was a grand daughter of Bracken's & a neice of Teazel's "Damson" Mossbawnhill Smooth As Silk For Rushden & her son "Smoke" Rushden Where There's Smoke With Mossbawnhill was 3rd in the Jun dog/bitch class.

We are VERY proud to say that "Toni" Mossbawnhill Celtic Legacy who is owned by sisters Natalia Malyarenko & Julia Eliseeva in Russia can now add the title of Ukraine Champion to his ever lengthening list of titles.....He has now accumulated Russian Ch.,Belarus Ch.,Moldova Ch.,Kazakhstan Ch. & Ukraine Ch. titles along with his Junior Ch. & International Champion titles!!!! And to add to that he also has to his name 6 CACIB's,4 BPIB's,a BPIS,2 Best Jun In Show,6 Grp 1st's & a 3rd BIS!!

"Riley" wins RDCC @ The Prestigous 'Sydney Royal' & Best Intermediate in Show on the same weekend in Australia!

Another Int Ch. for Mossbawnhill
We really are delighted to announce that we now have our third homebred Int Ch. at Mossbawnhill (subject to IKC confirmation) as "Badger" Ir & now Int Ch. Mossbawnhill Better Man gained his last CACIB yesterday (Sat 23rd April 2011) at Combined Canine Int Show under judge Mrs K Sjong from Denmark. "Badger" was awarded the Res CACIB but this will be allowed as a CACIB as the dog that took the CACIB & eventually BOB is already an Int Ch.
Thankyou to the Judge for appreciating "Badger" & giving him his Int crown.

"Timber" takes his 2nd CC in style @ Crufts!!
A huge THANKYOU to the Judge Dagmar for appreciating Timber & his super movement & also for recognising that Smoke has a promising show career ahead.
Under the bitch judge Magnus Hagstedt (Swed) our breeding also held it's own as "Ash" Mossbawnhill Ltd Edition To Yialousa owned by Anita Mixides (Yialousa) was placed 2nd in a very competitive mid-limit class of 27 and Timber's daughter "Crumpet" Mossbawnhill Glamorous owned & handled by Lynne Stratton who is new to the show ring also managed a 2nd placing in another extremely strong quality class of 30 this time in post-graduate. We are very proud of both Ash & Crumpet and their successes in the ring.

"Riley" clocks up another CC in Australia
Molly Rule-Steele of the well known Taejaan affix in Australia contacted us at the weekend to say that "Riley" Au Ch. Mossbawnhill I Am Legend won the dog challenge (CC) and BOS @ Canberra Royal Show on Sat 26th Feb 2011 under Mr Phil Kersey (NZ) "Riley" was expertly handled to this win by Sonia Turay...go team Taejaan!!!!!
