Internationally bred for versatility, health, movement & type.
Afterwards we had a small family reunion of the Mossbawnhill relatives & Martina very kindly took this photo below, from left - right:Tracy Gill with"Breeze" Mossbawnhill Causin A Stir At Rushden & our "Bracken" Collooney Mamma Mia,me (Pamela) with Lynne Stratton's "Crumpet" Mossbawnhill Glamorous & our own "Tawny" Mossbawnhill All Eyes On Me,Sheelagh Downing-Christie with "Sora" Mossbawnhill Worth The Wait,Mandy Sant with "Reef" Mossbawnhill Whatta Myth, her Mum Jean Dickenson with "Maple" Mossbawnhill Timeless Epic & finally Lynne Stratton with Martina's "Gleny" Druantia's Glen Boy.
"Mossbawnhill Glamorous. Beautiful brindle bitch of excellent overall quality & type and Glamorous she is! Powerful bitch head, lovely ears, beautiful expression. Strong, handsome neck. Deep chest & a lovely underline contributing to her curvy outline. Balanced angulation both ends. Moved soundly & efficently from all angles. Needs some more assistance from her handler as it's leaving too much of the job to the judge but certainly worth the effort."
Espen Engh
The day before the show the photograph below shows what sport Crumpet was excelling in & probably explains a lot about Espen's closing comments as Lynne would freely admit herself that her heart does'nt really lie with the sport of dog showing but rather the one below!!
We are VERY proud of what Lynne has achieved with Crumpet because to do what she has done with her is in our opinion no mean feat!!
A very big WELL DONE & Many CONGRATULATIONS to his owner handler Daniela Zingg-Bucher of Kennel "Druantia"
"Dickensen's Mossbawnhill Whatta Myth. Light brindle & white. Very attractive dog with beautiful outlines but just a little flat in topline. Well balanced with a lovely head & expression. Well angulated in front & rear. A stylish & sound mover."

WELL DONE!
The week started off on the Saturday 13th August 2011 with The Hound Assoc Ch Show where "Tawny" Mossbawnhill All Eyes On Me made her "proper" debut (she had put in appearances in the Baby Puppy Classes at some of the previous shows, but not all shows hold these classes) in the Puppy Bitch class under Paulo Dondina from Italy & managed to win it,her sister "Breeze" M. Causin A Stir At Rushden owned by our very good friends Janet Duke & Tracy Gill was 2nd handled by Tracy.
We then travelled on down to Lynne's in Dingle & settled the dogs in their new "holiday home",we then had a couple of days off to walk the dogs on the beautiful beaches (even more photos to follow) & do a bit of sight-seeing as we missed out the Sunday show at Clonmel as we knew the judges would'nt suit our dogs.
Tuesday 16th August saw us at Killarney Ch Show under Gerard Jipping from the Netherlands where "Folly" Jun Ch.Mossbawnhill U Bet I Am won the Open Bitch class & also took the Res Green Star (Res CAC).
Then another day off before Limerick Ch Show on Thursday 18th August where we had a really wonderful day under breed Judge Torbjorn Skaar from Sweden winning the Ch. Dog class with "Timber" IR & INT Ch. Mossbawnhill Exclusive (CJW 08),the PB class with "Tawny",the OB class with "Folly" and the Ch Bitch class with "Pebble" UK,IR,INT Ch. Mossbawnhill It's All Bout Me (Euro Winner 09)..."Pebble" eventually took the bitch GS (CAC) & Res BOB and her litter brother "Timber" went GS dog,BOB & also Sighthound Grp 3rd,Group 10 was judged by Bart Miller from the US. "Folly" managed to take the Res bitch GS in the breed too,so a GREAT day for us & a very BIG THANKYOU to the judge Torbjorn Skaar.
We then left Limerick show on a "high" & headed for Dublin Port to get the
ferry over to Holyhead in Wales for the Welsh KC Ch Show where Age Gjetnes was judging the breed,"Reef" Mossbawnhill Whatta Myth owned & handled by our very good friend Jean Dickenson managed a 3rd in PD on his debut, this also qualified him for Crufts 2012."Timber" was 3rd in OD & his sister "Pebble" was 2nd in OB but the highlight of our day was "Tawny" winning the Pro Plan Pup Of The Year AV Hound/Toy Minor Puppy Bitch Stakes under Max King (Brenin) from the UK & her litter sister "Clover" M.Claim To Fame At Shardbeck who is owned & handled by Pat Clewes was Res in the same class, but unfortunately I was misinformed by the stewards in the secretary's office regarding having to go back in to contest for Best Overall Puppy & by the time I found this information out I had missed the whole thing, but hopefully "Tawny" will have a few more chances to try & qualify for the "Pro Plan Pup Of The Year" stakes. Many THANKS to the judge Max King for appreciating our latest young hopeful.
We then headed for the boat again & back to Ireland for the last show at Tralee...we had left "Teazel" Mossbawnhill Turn UpThe Sun with Lynne & had to pick her up at Tralee show. The breed judge was Anette Edlander from Sweden,"Tawny" won the PB class,"Crumpet" was 2nd in the OB class,"Folly" was 4th & "Pebble" won the Ch Bitch class & Res GS. But we also had entered two of the stakes classes at this show (the Puppy Bitch Stakes & the Champion Bitch Stakes) under Marcie Dobkin from the US & were very pleased when "Tawny" was shortlisted in the final four of the PB stks class & had to go head to head against the four male puppies that had been selected for the overall four...we are pleased to say that "Tawny" was awarded 4th overall. Her mother "Pebble" had to basically do the same thing against the final four male Ch's that had been selected & we were really delighted when she was awarded 2nd! So THANKYOU very much to the judge Marcie Dobkin.
After our whirlwind week....we headed back home...we now need a holiday to get over it all!!
We also did well with Folly's grand dam "Bracken" Collooney Mamma Mia who was Best Veteran Bitch in Breed by winning the Special Vet Bitch class, her daughter "Pebble" UK,IR,INT Ch. Mossbawnhill It's All Bout Me (Euro Winner 09) was Res (4th) in a very hot OB class & finally "Mossbawnhill" won a lovely Breeders class under the respected Breeder/Owner judges Mr Roger Stock & Mrs Patsy Gilmour both of the well known "Courthill" kennel in the UK & we finished up 4th Best Breeders In Grp under the BIS judge Mr Andrew Brace!
We are very grateful to Roger Stock & Patsy Gilmour for appreciating our small kennel & also to Andrew Brace. THANKYOU very much to all three Judges.
